Now here's Paul from Matthew 6.

I was a very, very angry man.

I was a pastor. I didn't know I was an angry man. My wife knew I was an angry man.

My children knew I was an angry man, but I didn't see myself that way at all. I was a man who was in the midst of destroying his marriage and his ministry, and I had no idea. Loella, my dear wife, would be very faithful in

coming to me. She did it in wonderfully godly ways and bringing before me that anger and my

failure to love her in the way that I should.

I was unwilling to hear I would wrap my robes of righteousness around me and tell her what a great husband she had.

I told her again and again that I thought her problem was just discontent, and I would

pray for her. That helped her. That was a joke for those of you who are not awake yet.

At one point, Llella came to me, and she was confronting me about my anger, and I said this deeply humble thing to her.

I actually said this. It's embarrassing to admit.

I said 95% of the women in our church would love to be married to a man like me.

How's that for humility?

Llewala very quickly informed me she was in the 5%.
