Hi guys. So before I get into this week's episode we obviously have to discuss what the

fuck is going on in the world right now. I couldn't start this week's episode without

acknowledging the reoccurring disgusting acts of violent racism and just

blatant disregard of human life that we as a country continue to witness.

As a privileged white woman, I realize I may not even have a right to be saying something about this.

People may get really pissed off, but it also just did not feel right not to because what I saw

sickened me.

I'm aware as a comedy podcast, you guys don't come to call her daddy to listen to my political

views, my religious views, my world views, I get that.

You guys go to the news and leaders who you respect

for that information.

But I also know, I have a huge platform

and I think it's really fucking important that I address what is

going on right now. From what I have come to understand people of all color need to speak out and unite right now more than ever.

And during this time from what I've read,

in order for any of us to acquire an understanding of people who have

experienced different lives in us, have grown up differently, are experiencing different pains in us.

We're gonna have to listen, we're going to have to learn, we're gonna have to unlearn,

and we're gonna have to do some serious fucking self-examination.
