Eddie and I are very excited that this is the first episode of 2025.

And you know, Ed, we had recorded an episode last week,

because today is January 16th. Yep. We had recorded an episode last week, because today is January 16th.

We had recorded an episode last week kicking off the year, and we had a lot of fun in that

episode.

We were laughing.

We had this long segment where we actually were talking about the weather.

It was before the winds really picked up.

And to our listeners, as you know, we are

located here in Southern California, just a mere 30-ish, not even 30 miles away from where the

horrific, historically worst fires that we've ever had here in California,

occurred just like not even 24 hours after we had recorded that podcast.

So airing on the side of just compassion, we felt like it was not an appropriate episode at the time to release. So we sat on it

for a little bit. We both listened to it and we're like, you know, it's just we need to put it on

the shelf for a little bit. So, I mean, I don't think there was anything offensive in it.

It was just, it was supposed to release literally the second day that the fires were occurring.

And currently right now, the fires here in Southern California are still not contained.

They're not fully contained, I should say.

And we are, we are still checking in frequently with our friends over in Western North Carolina,
