The Supreme Court extends a pause on a law that would allow police to arrest migrants

suspected of illegally crossing the border while a judicial review continues.

The measure would allow police in the state to arrest migrants suspected of entering

the US illegally.

Part of Texas Governor Greg Abbott and fellow Republican lawmakers efforts to address the

crisis at the southern border, a federal judge in Texas citing with the Biden administration

who sued, arguing the law is unconstitutional and would overstep federal immigration laws

creating chaos after the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals stayed the ruling.

The federal government appealed to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court will not suspend the prison sentence for former Trump White House official

Peter Navarro, as he appeals a conviction on contempt of Congress charges.

The viral was supposed to report to federal prison tomorrow to serve a four month term.

He was found guilty on misdemeanor charges for refusing to cooperate with the congressional

investigation into the January 6th, Capitol Riot.
