because you'll probably hate this song. Even though you would think Roll Doll would like it,

he didn't, because today I want to talk about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which you probably

remember is Willy Wonka in the Chocolate Factory, and the neglected sequel that we probably will

never see. Or maybe we will.

There's a slim hope for that. This is free for all Friday. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we talk

apologetics and theology. But on Friday, we talk about whatever I want to talk about. Whatever I'm in

the mood to talk about, we're going to talk about. And today I want to talk about the works of

Roald Doll. Roll Doll is an interesting gentleman. I've

listened to a lot of those books over the past few years by audiobook. I used to take, so my kids

used to go to a homeschool co-op where it was kind of far away, and they would go there two days a week.

And it was pretty far. It was about 40 minutes. And then they would go there two days a week. And it was pretty far.

And then they would homeschool at home the rest of the time.

And so we did that.

So I got into kind of a routine of just taking them driving 40 minutes there, then coming back.

And we would listen to audiobooks a lot of that time.

And during that particular time, we listened to a lot of rolled doll. So Matilda, James

and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was later made into the 1971 film,

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. And then we listened to one of the books, it's the sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate

Factory.

And that would be Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator.
