Hey, friends. Welcome back to another episode of Theology and Iran. My guest today is Dr. Ben Norquist,

who is the director of the network of evangelicals for the Middle East, or Nimi, as it often goes by.

Ben is a researcher and a public organizer who has been following and researching the events in Israel,

Palestine for over 25 years, including he did a PhD at Azusa Pacific and

wrote his PhD dissertation on higher education in the land of Palestine. I mean, Ben has a,

I've gotten to know him over the last several months, and he's just got a thorough knowledge

of the history of politics of Israel, Palestine. But Ben is a capitally evangelical

Christian. So his focus is always ultimately on, you know, a gospel-centered approach to

peace in the Middle East, not simply understanding the political situation for political,

political sake, politics sake. Anyway, he's the co-author of a fourth coming up a book called

Every Somewhere Sacred, rescuing a Theology, a Place in-author of a fourth coming a book called Every Somewhere

Sacred, rescuing a Theology of Place in the American Imagination coming out with IVP Academic in

2025. Ben will also be leading a breakout at the Exiles Conference alongside Munther

Isak and Sun Chan Ra. He told me the other day. He's like, is it like if Sun Chen

Ra joins me in the breakout? I'm like, why have we got Sue Chen Raw? He's done lots of amazing

work as well. This is a tough thing. I want to say you're not going to want to miss the breakout.

The only reason why I hesitate is there's a few other breakouts that I also think you're not going to want to miss. So, yeah, you'll just have to choose wisely. I wish I could be at all three of these or all four.
