Hey everyone, Melissa Halster here.

I'm with one of my dear friends, Phyllis Unkofer, who did our school in 2013

and has been on staff and on our leadership team for the last five years.

And we are going to have a conversation.

There's a lot of conversation happening right now on a lot of different subjects and honestly I'm thrilled I'm thrilled that we're

talking I'm thrilled that more people are sharing their hearts and more people

are listening and we as friends and co-leaders

want to just take some time to offer you some of the things that God is saying to us, some of the keys that we're practicing in our own friendship,

even some of the keys that we're teaching our students in the past.

As many of you guys know, we lead the 18-inch journey. We've

been doing that school for 13 years and it is a school for the heart and many of

just the the rhythms and the tools and the keys that we teach are around emotional health.

They're around conflict resolution, they're around communication,

because if we can't do these things

then we actually can't thrive in life and I love that we've come to this moment in

history this moment in our history and our nation's history and a global history where conversations are needed more than they have ever been needed.

And we need the oil of trust and beauty to actually rest on these

conversations. And so today we want to we wanted to share with you guys from our

community. We've been praying we've been seeking the

Lord we've been having a lot of conversations some heated some very tender some

really funny we were laughing a lot, we're crying, we're even getting angry.

Like there's the full range of emotion and I just want to say that the father isn't he isn't phased by that full range of
