Hey friends, it's August 2020 and I'm coming to you from my home here in North Carolina.

And what a wild and crazy year it's been.

If I would have told you back in 2019 all that was going

to happen by this time in 2020 you probably would have never believed me and if you

would have told me I definitely wouldn't have believed you. It has been a wild year. Like so many of you, so many of our

plans have been canceled this year and we really had to stay really flexible and I've been so

grateful in the midst of all that's happening

with a value and a key that our friend Graham Cook gave us years ago and he was

teaching with us and sharing about this place of abiding in God's presence and

abiding in union with Jesus where we can come to this place where nothing is a problem, but everything is a possibility.

And I remember when he said that me and Melissa looked at each other

and we're like, we want that to be a value,

we want that to be a fixed star that leads and guides us. And it's a journey of this

moving from theory to reality. And in the midst of all the problems and all the craziness that's

been happening in the world. This really has become a value

and a fixed star guiding and navigating us. We've had to cancel so many retreats, summer camps, worship nights, tours, and in the midst of what seemingly feels

like a lot of problems we've been asking the Lord, what is the possibility?

Rejecting the negativity and all the fear that can come and really clinging to the father and saying,

Father, you knew this is going to happen.

What is the gift you have for us?

What's the invitation in the midst of this storm?

And I think one of the first gifts that we noticed
