So one day I'll be helping host develop their ideas, the next fact-checking, a feature,

It's wonderful to be back and joined today by Alan Titchmarsh, Gardner, writer, broadcaster, presenter of numerous TV programs from Ground Force to Love Your Garden and Love Your Weekend, host of a regular Saturday morning radio show on Classic FM,

and author of novels, non-fiction books,

and the recent poetry collection, Marigolds, Myrtle and Moles.

With Alan is Amanda Owen, otherwise known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess,

star of the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm.

Amanda's also featured in the BBC TV series Winter Walks,

is the author of five best-selling books, most recently celebrating the seasons, and on top of all that,

she runs a 2,000-acre hill farm. Heaven knows how either of you have the time to read, but you obviously do.

And, Alan, if you'd start with your choice of a good read, what is it?

My recommendation for a good read, Harry, is one that is by my bedside every night, if not this one, then a book by this author.
