1:08.0	in an effort backed by the United States
1:11.0	to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza War.
1:14.8	The latest ceasefire proposal would reportedly see as many as 33 Israeli hostages released
1:21.1	in exchange for potentially hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
1:25.0	U.S. officials were very eager to get this deal.
1:28.0	Pressure for a ceasefire has been building ahead of a threatened Israeli assault on Rafa.
1:33.0	Because Israel has been threatening a military offensive in the southern Palestinian city of
1:38.3	Rafa where a huge number of people are crowded.
1:41.2	Clean the violence to the north and now they're packed in the raffle, exposed and vulnerable.
1:47.4	They need to be protected.
1:49.4	And the US says it would be a humanitarian catastrophe on top of the emergency that's already
1:54.4	underway. Right.
