Hello and a very warm welcome to the Royal Highland Show here at Ingolston,

near Edinburgh. I'm Mark Stephen. Delighted to be here and with me to enjoy the sights,

sounds and really quite particular smells of Scotland. In fact, I think it might be the UK's

largest agricultural show, Rachel Stewart. Yeah, and it think it might be the UK's largest agricultural show.

Rachel Stewart. Yeah, and it's lovely to be here today and it is warm. Jeez, oh, it's been warm for the last couple of days.

It's a bit muggy today. Just now we're surrounded by sheep who are behaving pretty well, aren't they?

Yeah, to my mind, this is the essence of the show to be in amongst the stock.

You know, you've got cattle across there, blue-faced Lester's in front of us.

These are handsome animals.
