There's a lot of interest in the moment in electric vehicles.

Things like electric cars, electric buses, trains, scooters, bikes, you name it.

But you don't hear much about electric boats, particularly electric fishing boats, commercial fishing boats.

I saw an article recently in social media that said a man down in the west coast of Scotland had actually built one.

It is likely to be the first fully electric solar-powered fishing boat in the UK commercial

fleet. His name is Hans' uncles. I went down to Argyle to meet him to have a look at the boat

and to find out why he did it. So this boat here, my neighbour up at the road, Dougie,

we both worked together for 25 years or something.

We owned fishing boats and built various ones and worked that way.

It was a 15-ton 10-meter catamaran that we owned

and we fished quite seriously at prawns.
