Welcome and thanks for listening in again today. Quick note on last week's episode where we started a series on House Rules, the feedback on that was really good and

encouraging. So I'm totally all in to go through that book with you in the six-part series.

I'll be mixing those episodes in on and off throughout the winter.

And really, after some kind things that were shared, I thought about just working it straight

through, but you may not be aware that I have a partner in this podcast and sometimes

need to give deference to their topics over my own. Okay, that probably sounded a lot more

official than I meant it to. I'm talking about summer, my wife. We will have been married

26 years coming up in just two weeks.

And she is a huge part of this program.

You never hear her voice, but you very often hear her thoughts.

And every once in a while, an idea will stick for her.

And she knows me.

She can't just tell me one time that won't work.

She has to tell me over and over again until it becomes almost like my own idea or something. And today's title and content represents one of those concepts. Each morning

before the kids get up, we just get to sit together and drink coffee and talk. And then most
