I'm Mark Stephen. With me just now, Miss Helen Needham.

I'm so happy to be here and actually see you face to face.

We are standing at a distance, be reassured in the BBC

car park here in Aberdeen. It's been a while since you've been out about beyond the boundaries

of your family home. Yes, well I have been self-isolating for a couple of weeks because one of my

children wasn't well, but it's all fine and we're out the other end. uh i had to drive here actually today and i haven't

been near a car for well over two weeks couldn't remember what the pedals were for so that was a bit

of a novelty because we are perceived as essential workers which took me by surprise i have to say

never been called an essential work a bit more so we're allowed to drive around and come to work so that we can bring you this across the world

and hopefully bring some good cheer and a bit of the outdoors to your lives at the moment,

wherever you are cooped up.

The Scotland Outdoors podcast is really built on a live program we do for BBC Radio Scotland

called Out of Doors.

Now we've been asking the listeners of that

to get in touch. For previous stuff that we've done, because obviously we're limited in how far
