I'm coming on to tell you about our next episode, which is a repost of a conversation,

a co-post of a conversation that I just had with Dr. Ayanna Johnson, who is the author of

all that we can save and the new incredible text. What if we get it right? We got to sit down in Detroit, which was my first time

being back for a couple years now. And this was a conversation that happened a few days before

the presidential election. Tensions were running high. The energy was high. And you can feel it.

We're a little bit chaotic. We're silly. We're giggling a lot. You know that kind of terrified,

like, let's just laugh. But we also, it was a very balm for the soul kind of conversation.

And it felt like connecting with someone who were on the same path. We're on this path. She's part of

our journey and we're part of hers. The event took place at the urban consulate in Detroit,

the Garden Theater, and it was hosted by Orlando P. Bailey, Emmy Award winning journalist,

co-host of Authentically Detroit, executive director of the nonprofit local newsroom,

Outlier Media. And we wanted to share it, you know, it's going to be on the What If We Get It Right podcast that Iiana Johnson host.
