professor of ministry to women and the faculty co-coordinator of the Ministry to Women program

and both are involved in ministry to women in their local church. Leslie and Christy, welcome

to After the Fact. Thanks for joining me. Thanks for having us. Thank you. I'm glad to have you both on. Okay, so both of you care deeply

about training women to care for women in the life of the local church. When I read your resume here,

just these highlights here, there's a lot in here about training women, directing women,

coaching women, caring for women.

You both are passionate about this. Why? Why are you so passionate about this?

Yeah, I'll go first. I think for me, part of it is just my own experience that I had as a young adult in the church, even going through seminary, just having women walk alongside me

and really wanting to provide that for the women around me because it was such a good experience

and the good and the hard times, the different seasons of life. I've just had women rally. And I

love to teach. And so teaching the Word of God is something that I'm passionate about,

and I get to do that in my local church. I love it. Christy? Well, I would say one of my greatest

joys in life is seeing women transformed. And like Leslie, I love teaching. I think that comes in part

because I love studying. I love studying God's word, and I've seen it transform my life. And so as a result, I love teaching women to have confidence that they can love God
