I'm Jeffrey Masters, and today I'm talking to Alaska Thunderfuck.

We talk about how much her drag has changed over the years, as well as the art of drag in general.

We also discuss her new album called Amethyst Journey, and what a challenge that album has been, particularly the visual presentation of it.

I wanted to know if she was going to be performing the new music in drag.

The cover art is a little ambiguous, and the answer was more complicated than I thought, which I think is pretty cool.

I've been doing drag for over 15 years. Well, I've been doing drag since, well, I mean, time immemorial, really,

because when I was a little kid, I would, like, dress up in grandma's clothes and parade around.

So, but, like, actual, like, I'm going to perform.

I'm going to do a drag show that was like

that was like 10 years ago wait 11 11 yeah okay older than I used to be we can round up

but drag as an art form and in terms of exposure has really changed a lot in that period of time
