Hey everyone. So the Paris Games, they've come to a close. Alex caught the red eye home,

and we were able to sit down as a team and discuss what we'd seen, which, frankly, was pretty

freaking awesome. Both for us watching back at home and for Alex on the ground in Paris.

The youth took center stage in the men's combined, Boulder, and lead.

It was an incredible battle, a sort of changing of the guards, like we predicted.

If there was anyone who doubted Yanya Garnbread's place is the greatest competitor.

Climbing has ever seen, those last, I don't know, two or three doubters have clearly been silenced. It was an

incredible comp where Brooke Rabbitow took silver in an emotional final. Sam Watson kept pushing the

speed climbing world record lower and lower, but it was Indonesian speed climbing legend,

Vedrique Leonardo, who shone the brightest in men's speed, winning his nation's ninth

gold medal in history. And Alexander Miroslav, who has dominated women's speed climbing,

held off a young field and capped an incredible career with both a gold and a new women's world

record. We sit down with Alex to debrief producers John Bergman and Lisi Hendricks join in.
