Thank you so much for listening to Inside The Hive from Vanity Fair. Barbara, when you heard about the possible gunman at Trump's golf course last weekend,

what was your first thought? My first thought is America has way too many guns and the fact

that we're seeing more and more of this over time is not a coincidence. The United

States has more guns than any other advanced industrialized democracy and as a result we have more gun violence like exponentially more gun violence.

So as long as we continue to allow people to have guns, mentally unstable people to have guns,

former criminals to have guns, people who have committed domestic violence to have guns, we're going to continue

to have violence and it's going to increase.

And if we're rescinding what few gun control laws that we have, we're going to see even more of it over time.
