Whether you're anxiously attached, or avoid at least attach, they're two sides of the

same coin.

They both are rooted in a fear of intimacy.

One fears that intimacy is going to suffocate them, and one fears that intimacy is going

to abandon them.

And so it is a dysregulation of the nervous system, and I think the goal is whether your

anxious or avoidance is to become more secure, not to become more like your partner.

I struggled with my anxious attachment.

I was probably very severe until I realized like it was ruining all of my relationships

because I would sabotage.

You know, once I realized that this was my pattern, and I couldn't just keep blaming

everyone, I really sought to get help on this, and I made it my goal to shift my anxious

attachment.
