when intelligence and politics are braided together And it's a story about sources, who sources are and how

truthful they are and how much they can be trusted. And intelligence is not really what it sounds like.

Intelligence is the raw information, claims, mutterings, that the intelligence community collects as it tries to

understand the world. The problem with intelligence is that it's really alluring.

And this is a story about what happens when intelligence, this thing that should be closely guarded and used by government officials

to make decisions is harnessed by politicians for their political ends. From New York Times, I'm Michael Bobaro.
