Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republican Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

The biggest event so far since the election was called happened yesterday during this show

when Nigel Ferraris decreed that the Brexit Party would not campaign or stand in any of the 317 Tory held seats, leaving Boris Johnson just nine

short of a majority, providing they don't actually lose any of them, which is by no means

a foregone conclusion. The questions began immediately, of course, has Nigel Farage sold out for a

peerage, has he been promised a job in the new government? Could he have been worried about

Aaron Banks disagreeing with his strategy, and was it all a stitch-up?

On Julie Hartley Brewer this morning, Nigel denied it

and said he simply wanted to get Brexit done,

although he did say he's been offered a period on numerous occasions

by numerous different politicians.

Now there are calls for him to stand down Brexit Party candidates

in Labour marginal seats as well.
