It was makeup and color that first captivated Antonia, and even at the age of 12, she would encourage her older sisters to sit for makeovers. This passion continued after school and university, where Antonia began work at Space NK in Islington, honing her skills as a makeup artist but also discovering the fascinating and varied world of skincare. It was while working on the shop floor that Antonia realized the power that good skincare can have on an individual and the training she received with a variety of brands fueled her interest in cosmetics.Having joined Aurelia’s team in the brand’s earliest stages, Antonia’s journey has been a successful one and she has grown with the brand as Claire’s protegee and confidante. Yes, it's so fun to talk to people that I never thought I'd get to talk to. So yeah,

I'm super excited. And I want to actually get started by talking about your background

and how you got involved with Oralia London and just the whole journey behind it.

Yeah, absolutely. So I was actually fresh out of university when I started my career at Oralia.

Alongside the brand's founder, Claire Viro, back in 2013. I was actually on Oralia's journey

basically from the very beginning. Yeah, it was early on. I've had experience in the beauty

industry already. And I'd always had a passion for skincare and makeup, but I was working as a

sales assistant in SpaceNK, which I'm sure you know is a beautiful beauty destination.

And so I joined Oralia literally as an intern, all fresh-faced and ready.

Literally from the ground up. And I started working from Claire's own kitchen.

So we were working together on marketing. I actually was in charge of all customer services,

new product formulas. We worked together on NPD, which was really exciting. And lots of

innovation at the time. And as you can imagine, so much more in-between as well.

And from there, I became basically the brand trainer because I'd been involved from so early

on. And I'd have experience of being trained. I ended up being the lead educator for Oralia and

was training employees and retail staff and customer service staff from online retailers.
