I definitely find it both inspirational and motivational to see people create a name for

themselves and to accomplish admirable things. But I do take issue with how seemingly obsessed we are

as a society, with the very young, doing very big things and in very short amounts of time. For me, it's that yucky feeling that

if you're even a day past 30 years old and you haven't made it in some way or another, you may never.

It also sends the message that what matters are the public kind of successes, the ones that are

quite big. As I am personally approaching turning 40 years old, I am increasingly drawn to
