we spoke about the 275th anniversary of the Battle of Collodon, which took place just outside Inverness between the forces of Bonnie Prince Charlie, the Jacobites, and the Duke of Camberland, the Hanoverians. The result for the Jacobites was not a good one. It put me in mind
