Got the barbecue or the grill, as our American cousins would say.

Got that out for the first time this year in the garden.

It was beautiful weather.

Sun was shiny.

Cooked up a few steaks and enjoyed myself in the back garden while not watching

any football yesterday. So that was good. You might be able to hear my son shouting in the

background. He is very excited because it was his birthday party this weekend. And he's now kind of,

because he's two, he's sort of able to conceive of what that means.

Not in a sort of grander sense about, you know, his advancing age and the reality of, you know, our mortality and our limited time on this coil.

Yeah, his best years are behind him, sadly.

Yeah.
