Ryan, why don't you give everybody sort of some framework we're going to be using to examine

this very common theology in the church?

So I think one of the things that people have the most questions about is what is even

the sin.

Look, if our life in the church, if our life in trying to get closer to God is trying to avoid sin or even

the near occasion of sin, what are we even trying to avoid? What causes sin? Why do we sin?
