What do we have? One of my favorite topics in sleep, Lucy Dreaming. People are

interested in Lucy Dreaming and its scientific aspects. It always comes up, doesn't it?

I'm sure you've been asked this when people say,

or what do you do and you say, I'm a sleep scientist.

It's usually one of two things that emerges first it's the fact that

They or their partner they're not sleeping well and please help me that's the first and then one of... And yes, yeah, I trust, I've, you hear that so much, I could be your perfect subject.

I just do not sleep.

And then the second, if it's not that, it's usually into the world of dreaming.

Lucid dreaming, what is it?

Lucid Dreaming lay defined is dreaming in which you start to control what it is you're doing.

But scientifically, our definition is a little bit more loose.

It's simply that you become aware of the fact that you're dreaming as you are dreaming. But most lucid dreaming in terms of how we think about it and how it's studied scientifically is that not only are you aware that you're dreaming as you are dreaming but you can start to

Decide what it is that you wish to do those claims if you think about it. You're an individual who says I'm a lucid sleeper and I can do

whatever it is I like when I am dreaming. How do you prove that scientifically? the individual is still asleep and they're
