All right, so I've been studying in the book of Philippians and I'm going to be teaching through

Philippians. There's four chapters in Philippians and I'm going to, I've got four times,

I'm going to be ministering Greg will be

ministering three during this conference and so I'm going to spend one evening on

each one of these chapters and let me just say before I get into this some people think oh man we're just going to sit here and go word by word or verse by verse through the Bible

Look at it this way

Paul is probably one of the greatest men that ever walked the earth as far as things that

God did in his life.

He wrote half of the books of the

books, New Testament, he was a student of Gamaelia, and he was a Hebrew of the Hebrews,

a Pharisees.

This guy was steeped in religion,

but he was brutal and mean with it to the point that he's

one of those that held the clothes when they stoned Stephen to death, and then he began to

persecute the church.

And I mean, he was, if you could imagine somebody

who was steeped in religion and just mean as a snake,

that was Paul.
