years. And now here's Andrew. Let's turn back over to

Philippians. For those of you that were not here last night I ministered through

verse by verse through Philippians chapter one. through an insight into a man who probably knew God like very few people that have ever lived on this planet.

And God used him, he wrote half of the books in the New Testament.

God used him to raise people from the dead, he stood before

Nero. I mean, God used him in such powerful ways. And what a blessing it is to have these verses that give us an insight into what made him the person that he was.

And last night we kind of, we dealt with a lot of things, but we focused on chapter one and I believe it was verse 20 or 21 where he says for me to live as Christ and to die as gain.

And this is a man who was in prison, had been in prison for five years at this time, and yet here he is thinking

about other people and saying that, man, even if people were mocking him and making fun of him,

it didn't matter because Jesus was being glorified a

person who had totally lost his life in Christ and this is what made him the

person that he was and this is what we need to have in our life is to get to a place to where we

have literally become dead to ourselves.

Paul said in Galatians 220, he says I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live yet not I but Christ

lives in me in the life that I now live in the flesh. I live by the faith of the

son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.

And that's the way we need to be as to where it's just, it's not our life.

It's not our choice.

It's, we just lose ourselves. We become a living sacrifice. That's another thing that the

apostle Paul said in Romans chapter 12 verse one. He says, I beseech you there for brother
