Awakening is necessary for our survival.

In this podcast, Eckhart elaborates further about finding freedom from the bondage of self.

He says the first step is to confront our thinking and resist the urge to identify with every thought we have.

Eckhart says, rising above thinking paves the way to liberation. He warns that we are quickly moving towards a crisis

point for humanity and the planet. Eckhart believes this pivotal moment does not have to

spell disaster because it is precisely during a crisis that we have the greatest opportunity to evolve.

He says many people are ready for a shift in consciousness.

He says awakening is no longer a luxury. It is a

necessity for our survival.

Now at first this space of pure awareness seems to be nothing.

In a way it be nothing.

In a way it is nothing,

in the sense that it is not a thing,

that it is not an object of consciousness.

Because everything else... of consciousness.

Because everything else is an object of consciousness. Every sense perception becomes an object of consciousness.

Every thought is an object.

In other words, you could say,

it is a form that consciousness temporarily takes.

It incarnates into a form, and that form is a thought,

or it could be a sense perception.

And so that is the incarnation of consciousness
