So there we were rolling into the beach this morning. Otters popping up out of the water,

prairie dog, and just could not believe we were landing where we were fixing to go.

We hit the beach and started ascending up this cliff face, having to keep 20-yard spacing for safety

just with the rocks rolling back down the hill behind us.

And crest the hill, and we look to the horizon and we can see absolutely nothing because of the brush.

For the next hour and a half, we stay in that brush.

All right.

Here we are.

Poor audio recording device, but live from the Ventress and Kodiak again.

We're here with our good friends, Travis Larson and his crew,

and we've got Robbie over here this time, and we've got Sweet Pete back in the corner back

there. So Pete's with us this time, his first time we've met. Jay J. JJ's out because JJ recently had a baby.

And so they were on their last trip,

and he had to catch a float plane out and make a run to the hospital.

But mama and baby, and I thank JJ and everybody are doing fine now,

and happy to add another one to the crew here.

So real quick, I guess you can call this on assignment.

I called JVB and I said, hey, let me, do you want us to record some short episodes or short

snippets or anything from the Ventress?

And he said, you know what?

Why don't you guys just do audio journal and let us know what goes on on your trip?

And so on this trip, we scheduled this just after our last one.
