If your feet goes south in the backcountry, your hunt can be over.

There's a few things you can do to keep your feet in the best possible condition,

and we're going to talk about that today, at the request of one of our listeners.

So let's jump in to foot care.

This is a subject that, know we really probably don't give enough focus to and by the way I'm sitting in Wyoming on a

Scout hunt. It was really windy today. This morning, our first set we had three

kioats just come charging in. Magnificent sight. Doesn't happen to me very often.

I am an enthusiastic but not a good

coyote hunter and so I get pretty excited when everything happens just right.

I'd scanned the draw that I was supposed to be focusing on real hard.

Turned to look over my shoulder at my hunting partner Neil Emory from Hornity to make sure all was good on his end and

thinking you know like you do if your partner gets through four coy coming in, maybe you can shift positions just enough

to provide them a little backup. Well, I wasn't paying attention, and on a little plateau right

between our two fields of fire, three kilots came dashing in.

And our guide, whose name was Cody, managed to say something that got my attention redirected and I managed to miss one and then

hit it on a hard run at 191 yards so bad first shot at about 170 yards.
