This is another episode of bars where I break down a profound statement said by somebody with some wisdom about them.

All right. So today I'm going to break down. I'm pretty sure I broke this

down before, but I got to do it again. And maybe I haven't because I oftentimes feel that way

when I do bars. I feel like I've done it before, but I didn't. But this is from the book called

Hagakure, the book of the samurai. Anyone who knows me knows how much I talk about this book and it's profound

impact on my life. And it's because the mindset of a samurai, for whatever reason, really speaks to me

and resonates with me. All right. And I'm pretty sure it will resonate with you because if you're

someone who resonates with me, then you have the mindset of a fucking competitor, a savage.

Not everyone's like that, by the way, and that's not good or bad.

We're all called to be different things in life.

You understand?

But I'm a fucking soldier.

You understand?

That's how I've always been.

And as I come to understand myself

more and more, I've come to embody that and just kind of own that. That's how I'm built,

whether right or wrong. You ever watch a movie? And there's certain shit about it, man,

that you fuck with. And then somebody else watching the movie with you, they think that shit is crazy.

But you like the idea of that.

Just, you know, like there's some people who like the idea of being a soldier in the army.

And then some people who think that's crazy.
