Right it's Friday morning and it's another sunny day in Durham Blue Sky and we are on our

way to see what is likely to be the conclusion to this case even though as we will see today so many lingering questions still

remain. Okay. All right. Beyond reasonablebt on BBC Radio 5 Live. This whole Alford plea was so confusing. We heard it on the radio and my mother was saying,

he pled guilty and I said, no he didn't. Yeah, he pled guilty.

And I said, no, he didn't.

Yeah, it is confusing.

Well, my question would be is how satisfactory

is this to the family of Kathleen Peterson. It's getting on for 11 in the morning and we're in court 7D in the

in the Durham Courthouse. When we got here earlier, we were one of the first to arrive.

There was no fuss.

Security was tight as you'd expect, but not so it held us up that much.

court where the jury would normally sit but of course Michael Peterson's fate today is not in the

hands of 12 citizens of Durham but in the hands of Judge Orlando Hudson.
