There's a story to be told there in states like Montana and New Mexico that go far beyond just recreation and the value that public lands bring to us as hundreds and anglers, but it's also a way of life. It's passing down culture to the next generation.

But the West is changing and now you have to look at you know how to best manage for the next

hundred years starting with a firm belief that public lands should stay in public hands.

And that's part of what this bill does, how? You know, this bill limits the sell of land tracks over five acres if they're accessible via a

public waterway. Yeah I'd say at great points and I'd say at the end of the day

it plants a steak in the ground, hands off federal lands.

Federal lands should be in public hands, and the federal government should not have the ability without congressional approval to divest of our treasures.
