Good afternoon, everybody. It's Dr. Niagara again, our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

As always, a heartfelt thank you to the numerous followers we have across the globe.

It's an absolute pleasure and privilege. I say to every week, and I mean it wholeheartedly,

that even though we're not treating anyone um that you see us as a source of of inspiration and motivation

uh and uh source of knowledge and i truly i can't speak for julie but she's not here with me. So, um, you guys have me today.

So, uh, heartfelt appreciation, especially from people who travel from such far distances

to place your trust in me, um, for neurocegevals, uh, seen some people for consultations

regarding a wide variety and, um variety and disorders and pathologies.

And again, it's a broad audience, and I kind of go back and forth between clinical topics and just, like last week, it did emotional abuse.

But I'm going to segue back to a clinical perspective.

And back to everybody's favorite disorder, which is borderline personality disorder.

I'm going to approach it from one of the best, again, I've got my notes here.

So one of the best books in understanding and working with

borderline personality, if you're in relationship with somebody, is the book Stop Walking on

eggshells. It is an invaluable source, an invaluable tool in being able to effectively navigate.

This is not for the individual with borderline personality.

This is for individuals who are in relationships with people with borderline personality disorder.

And I really like how the book and the corresponding workbook, both of which you can get on Amazon, again, here I go with the free advertising again.

But I think this is well worth it because this, in my opinion, is one of the most misdiagnosed, underdiagnosed, dismissed sometimes disorders, especially in the personality disorders.

And I just want to clarify that, yes, you can diagnose personality disorders in children and adolescents with the exception of antisocial personality disorders.

And I've seen this too many times where it becomes frustrating to the extent that people are walking around

and it's clear as day because doing diagnostics as a neuropsychologist the the the data is there
