It is Dr. Niagara again with our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

And Julie and I really appreciate the confidence that you have placed in us

and being at least educators or

sounding boards, giving you a forum to explore the myriad peaks and valleys of a field that

I've dedicated my life, my time to Julie. Uh, but you guys have me again today because

Julie is doing tell health and trying to catch up, uh, on a Sunday. So, but I also wanted to

do this episode because I'm wanted to piggyback this one, uh, on last week's episode. Uh, didn't want to do it all at once because I think it piggyback this one on last week's episode.

I didn't want to do it all at once because I think it would have been too much, but

borderline personality disorder seems to be the one topic that, as I've said, people are

incredibly interested about.

I personally, professionally viewed as being something that is much more

prevalent than what the current prevalence rates would suggest. I think it's completely misdiagnosed

and just completely dismissed as being diagnosed in children and adolescents if they do meet the

diagnosis criteria.

And that's just a professional frustration of mine.

But I've referenced the book Stop Walking on and Eighthels multiple times throughout doing this podcast,

primarily as it relates to borderline personality disorder,

but I think you can extrapolate it to a lot of different personality types.

So last week, and again, these are non-clinical terms, but I think the, and I've used this module and this framework successfully with people and have seen the efficacy and the benefits of just being able to conceptualize it.
