Nothing much.

We're on Chapter 5, Global Transition and its enemies, but before that I wanted to address a few things

that have come up.

One, I feel like the rise and fall of left Dugganism has happened since we kind of started this series.

Yeah, I think so. Weirdly, it's one of those things where their success made them really unpopular.

By that I mean the American Communist Party, absconding with maybe, depending on who you ask,

some chapters of the CP USA,

consolidating Midwestern Marks,

which had to eat a lot of its own positions to do this.

And Henkel and Hans, and the one very massive media operation that may or may not be an actual party.

Seems to have actually turned most of the M. L's against any lingering Duganism and they've become much more suspicious of it than before.

I know a lot of people who were very friendly to Mendelest remarks who are now freaked out by the stuff.

So I find that interesting in and of itself that maybe, by the time we started this,

this has already lived through its second life cycle as an attempt to convert the left and in real and and people

actually reading this shit they're realizing what it is but I also want to talk a little bit about some other stuff has been brought up in the

comments before we get into this. I've been mildly chastised for not going into the fact that

Dugan is not just an Orthodox Christian but a perennialist and thus a radical traditionalist more.

And that is because Dugan himself equivocates on whether or not he is still any former radical

traditionalist outside of Eastern Orthodoxy and I have a hard time taking any of

the claims that that helps you read him seriously not that I don't think it's true, but that I've read many Dugan books at this point, like most of the ones available in English, and his books are radically different from book to book just like his speeches are different from talk to talk.
