Janae and Trisha are sisters in-law.

That means they're related by marriage, but they didn't have to choose each other.

They didn't have to choose to be best friends.

They didn't have to choose their bond or their commitment.

But they did, and for years, the two of them have been each other's rock.

Back in September of 2023, this bond,

this commitment helped them get through an unimaginable tragedy. Tricia was camping with her

family in upstate New York when her daughter Charlotte, who was only nine years old, was abducted

from the campground.

Over the next 47 hours, Trisha and her family went through the worst possible thing that parents can go through.

Jenae took over the reins of the investigation.

She knew that she had to be the strong one.

This is a story of courage and bravery and love and the commitment between two women who would stop at nothing to bring a little girl home. I want to dive into the story to get started.

But first I want you to tell me how the two of you are related and connected and

committed to one another. So we are sisters-in-law. We are married to two brothers,

who are very close-knit family, a typical, you know, Italian-American family.

So we have been sisters-in-law for 10 years and always just been very close friends also, I would say.

So I think, you know, our family sort of banding together isn't anything unusual at all.
