Folks, the old gentleman that taught me the finest points of hand loading used to tell me that there are three bees to rifle accuracy, barrels, bullets, and brass.

And these days, I think we talk a lot about the bullets, that projectile, you know, and it's important.

We have a real affinity for

high-end rifle barrels, the really good custom stuff, hand laps, single-point cut rifled and all.

But we don't talk enough about the brass, whether it's in our hand loads or in factory ammunition.

And today I've got a gentleman that knows more about cartridge brass than anybody else I've ever talked to to join us on the podcast and talk about brass and then also bullets.

I get a little bit giddy when we get to geek out about the technical aspect of ammunition,

because that's one of my first loves.

I've been a disciple of cartridge and bullet performance most of my life.

So I'm just glad you were able to make the time and come on the show.

Tell our listeners a little bit about yourself and your history as a hunter, as a hand loader, and as a nozzler personality.

Okay. Well, hey, again, appreciate you having me on the show. Just a little bit about myself. So grew up hunting, you know, mostly mule deer and elk in central and eastern Oregon. And, you know, kind of growing up, we shot a lot of Nausea, being that it was local to us and stuff like that.

Really enjoyed the product.

And I pursued a career in engineering as I kind of grew older, got out of high school, stuff like that.

And my objective with that was to get into the outdoor industry. Obviously,
