First Kings chapter 22, verse 14. But Maciah said, as the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me,

0:43.3

that I will speak. Oh, that's a really good verse. So this messenger comes to Micaiah, the prophet,

1:38.3

I will never forget first day in preaching class in seminary when my mentor in ministry, Jim Shattuck said,

2:04.6

not what people want to hear. So I encourage us to pray based on 1st Kings 2214 for those who

2:14.2

teach God's word and to be discerning to make sure in the church you are hearing

2:20.2

what God has said and you can see it in his word and not just listening to what someone thinks

2:26.4

or maybe even what you would like to hear. And then a second direction I want to encourage us
