0:00.0	In the book of Luke, if you would please, Luke chapter 2 and verse 10, they quoted this and referred to this earlier, but I want to talk a little bit more about it.
0:16.6	Luke 2 and 10, it says the angel had said to them,
0:22.6	Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
0:29.4	which shall be to all people.
0:33.9	That is the definition of the gospel, good tidings or good news. If it's not good news,
0:46.0	it's not the gospel. Now I say that because a lot of religious groups have changed it into another gospel, which is not the gospel,
0:57.3	a message of suffering is what they preach.
1:03.0	But that's not good news.
1:05.6	Huh?
1:06.9	The giving of Jesus, God becoming flesh, coming to pay the price for us, the cross, you know,
1:18.2	it should be considered with the greatest reverence, but Jesus is not on the cross.
1:26.5	Huh?
1:27.7	The work of the cross is done.
1:30.1	It's complete.
1:32.2	And we shouldn't just focus on and be sad and cry about the cross.
1:37.1	We should think about what it accomplished for us, what was gained, what the Lord
1:43.4	bought for us. And so the giving of Jesus the giving unto us a a son is given a child
1:53.8	is born this is the greatest gift that's ever been given to anybody anywhere that we have any knowledge of.
2:02.8	Because in the giving of Him is the giving of our salvation, our eternal life.
2:10.6	Now we hear these words, but it's easy for them to just go past you.
2:16.2	Did you hear that term?
2:18.2	Eternal life.
