Now there was a series that went before it called Teach Us to Pray.

In Ephesians 6, Ephesians 6 in verse 10, he was talking about being strong in the Lord and the power of his might.

And then he's talking about putting on the whole armor of God, standing against all the wiles and trickery of the enemy.

And he got down to verse 17, finishing talking about the armor and take the helmet

of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God praying always with all prayer

and supplication in the spirit and watching there and two with all prayer and supplication in the spirit

and watching there and two with all perseverance

and supplication for all saints.

So having received all of the armor of God

and the sword of the spirit,

that leads you up to this, praying, always, with all prayer.

Now, this lets you know that your prayers will be resisted.

And you'll be attacked when you try to pray.

I shouldn't say try when we pray.
