From the land of the free and the home of the chiefs, this is the

locked on chiefs podcast. It's nearly here and the chiefs have a little bit of a

wrinkle going on with their draft plans. Welcome back to lockdown chiefs.

I'm Ryan, the host of RGR football on YouTube as well as the founder of Rogue Analytics.

of an update on the cornerback position so you can check that out if you've already

purchased it is free to download again so check that out at rogue ABC.com a little bit of a wrinkle in that the chiefs are

going about their draft completely virtually as we've heard

so is the rest of the league but for the chiefs that means things are a little bit different they normally have a press conference at the end of the first round that evidently isn't going to happen they're going to communicate some other way there's also a lot of virtual back and forth. We've heard around the

league how what the NFL is doing is providing both an IT support person and a

security person available for personnel that are going to be connected.

Brett Veach had a stream with the Beat Writers last week.

They also put it out on their YouTube channel, so I suggest you check that out if you're interested.

Where he talked about that, he will have some support there in terms of both security and I believe IT as well.

He's going to be in a command center in his home much as the rest of us are much

like you'll see from me on the live stream on RGR football where I'll have running commentary

and analysis for the reaction show as the raft is live on Thursday night.

The interesting part about it is they've designated, and I like the way the chiefs have gone about organizing this and designated a single person to go ahead and be in contact with the league.

Ryan Poles is going to run some of that, be able to cross-communicate so that it doesn't all fall to the GM, it doesn't all fall to Brett Veats trying to make decisions and make communication requests, etc.

I think the whole thing is really leading towards what the NFL announced is the ability to kind of put the draft on pause and

just say we have an issue somebody's making a trade there's some gap, and we're just going to kind of
