You know, I like to be fit and healthy, so the best way I know is to just get out there and run.

Running was an outlet for me to, I guess, feel good about myself and take out some of the angers that were going on in my life.

Sonio Sullivan is going to take the world title back.

This feels very like a Lions tour.

But it is an absolutely pleasure to be here to present the singlets to this year's

2025 Sonja O'Sullivan 10 mile road race squad. I think they deserve a round of applause to start.

It's great to have everybody here. I mean, I know some people are in

like great ship. Some people are hanging on. And some people are just making the start line.

They're going to find out tomorrow how good a shape they're in.

But, you know, we've done our best to get everybody here focused on the race, thinking about it and building towards something.

Once you decide to do something and then you set your mind to it, then it gives you a reason and a purpose to get out there every day.

Because running is not, it's not an easy thing.

But if you keep doing it over and over again, you get better at it.

And I hope you're here feeling a lot better today, getting ready for tomorrow, than you were eight weeks ago.

And you feel like you've made progress and that you're really looking forward to the challenge tomorrow. Unfortunately, David Coleman can't be here this weekend due to injury and his own

kids being sick. But every step of the way you were encouraging each other and doing what

Sonia had hoped you'd do, which was, you know, build a squad and grow this thing together.

So there is that positive vibe in here.
