But I think he's going to figure out, you do more, and I'll meet you in the middle some way.

And we're going to probably be announcing that tomorrow.

Reuters reports that Lutnik spoke with Canada's finance minister earlier today.

This morning, Canada's prime minister, Justin Trudeau, blasted President Trump over the tariffs.

We stepped up.

We engaged closely and constructively with the president and his administration.

We did everything we promised. We stuck to our word.

Cudot said the trade war will harm American families and will destroy President Trump's

agenda that was opposed to usher in a new golden age for the United States.

Stocks racked up more losses at the trade war between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and China escalates.

The Dow lost 670 points in NASDAQ minus 65, the S&P off 71.

President Trump said to deliver an address to a joint session of Congress tonight with border security expected as a main theme.

Urging lawmakers in the room to pony up the dough to make crossings safer.

And there's going to be a big attempt to reassure nervous markets about these new 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico.
