The change of heart. I'm Lisa Lucera, Fox News. President Trump is scaling back new tariffs imposed on Canada and Mexico.

Following a phone call with the big three U.S. automakers, President Trump is exhibiting automobiles from the 25% tariffs imposed on Canadian and Mexican goods this week.

They requested the call. They made the ask,

and the president is happy to do it. It's a one-month exemption. But White House Press Secretary

Caroline Levitt says President Trump told the automakers their vehicles will not be exempt when reciprocal

tariffs are implemented next month. He told them that they should get on it, start investing, start moving,

shift production here to the United States of America where they will pay no tariff.

President Trump spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau telling him Canada has not done

enough to stop fentanyl from crossing into the U.S. Fox is Jared Halper at the White House.
