Hey everybody it's David Plough. Welcome to Campaign HQ. Well Donald Trump kicked off his campaign with an epic cluster

fuck in Tulsa last weekend. Kind of violating every practice in politics, which is at a core level.

I guess it's true in life.

You want to under promise and over deliver,

but talking about a million signups

and saying that they were going to have 60,000 people outside so they're going to have two

events and just a colossal mistake.

And I know they're trying to Trump will try and throw his campaign under the bus and they

clearly deserve a lot of the blame but this is ultimately on him. But at the

core Donald Trump we see this in the economy we certainly saw this is

rally people aren't comfortable in numbers that he

would like to see returning to normal life. So, you know, a lot of the people who

didn't show up in tall are going to vote for Donald Trump.

They may volunteer for him, they may contribute,

but they weren't comfortable in that confined space.

And he wants to recreate reality out there.

The way he sees things. The way he wants things to be is the way they are.

And people are pushing back against that. You know, people aren't comfortable going in

indoor places. People aren are uncomfortable going into a massive

rally with no masks and no social distancing. So I think reality is really

bumping up against Trump here and it'll be interesting to see what he does going

forward I mean those rallies as I've spoken before are oxygen for him I don't
