welcome to episode 311 of connecting with Walt. I am your host and dis historian Michael Bowling. And I am joined by my co-host, producer, and good friend Tom Bell. Tom, how are you today?

Hey, Michael. I am doing well. Hey, yourself. I am doing well. I was just before the show for our recording.

I was covering all the outdoor furniture and all that because we are getting ready for a bomb cyclone.

The storm of the century?

Yes, which is going to be a heavy rainstorm.

But I say we'll get 20 inches of rain.

But I remember when I was a kid, things didn't have names.

Like it was just going to be a heavy rainstorm or moons.

Every full moon has the name, a double wolf, you know, red moon and this and that.

They just look like moons to me. me so anyway so we're having a bomb

cyclone so hopefully um but they do they are concerned about flooding so hopefully um folks who

are in that um won't be affected by by the flooding and all that.

So anyway, that's had a good time this weekend.

We'll talk more about it later, but I got to hang out with our good friend Mary Jo, which was nice.

I haven't seen her and I was checking my calendar two and a half years.

Oh, wow.

So, yeah, we hung out in Long Beach a couple years ago when I was going to go on a cruise, a

carnival cruise out of Long Beach.
